EXHIBITIONS

The work of Stephen B. Whatley has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions since 1988 – highlights of which include Hollywood Gold at the National Theatre in 1993; a special exhibition of his Tower of London Commission in the Banqueting Hall, Tower of London – in which the artist was presented to HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh in 2004; and Paintings from Prayer exhibited throughout two chapels in Westminster Cathedral in 2013.

In the summers of 1999 and 2000 his paintings of Buckingham Palace, commissioned by The Royal Collection, were reproduced on London Transport posters all over the London Underground and inside tube trains. Since Spring 2001, his series of 30 paintings for the Tower of London are reproduced permanently throughout Tower Hill Underpass, the main portal entrance to the Tower of London, from Tower Hill Station: a permanent public art exhibit on display daily in London.
