Works Of Art - Page 1 of 2
Stephen
B Whatley paints from his heart and soul; and since his childhood has felt deeply
spiritual. His deep Christian faith that has grown increasingly through the
years, with his particular devotion to the Catholic faith, has helped him survive
tragedy and heartbreaks in his life – and ultimately become a catalyst
and integral part of his artistic creativity. Prayer is part of his life –
and his work…his art.

Stephen
welcomes enquiries regarding commissions of Christian Subjects
In no other works is his faith more evident than in
his tender and heart rendering depictions of Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin
Mary and the Saints that he celebrates in his drawings and paintings; often
powerfully on specific anniversaries.
The
paintings and drawings have been shown on the artist’s site at Flickr.com-
which allows public comments beneath each picture – and due to the enormous
positive response from both Christians and agnostics – he feels it is
time to make these original works of art publicly available to collectors. He
gives all credit to God and the Saints, to whom he has prayed throughout the
making of these works – and hopes by sharing, these unique originals will
bring blessings and joy to those who own and view them.
